If you're arriving by car, you can park directly at the hotel in the hotel parking lot . Alternatively, you can take the bus from the train station (approx. CHF 10) or book a shuttle service .
The hotel is just a 10-minute walk from the beautiful Lake Maggiore. If you're tired from your workout, you can also reach the town center by bus. The municipality of Brissago is located on the northern shore of Lake Maggiore , southwest of Ascona on the Italian border. The town offers diverse natural beauty, impressive scenery, and a Mediterranean flair.
Dogs are allowed in the hotel for a fee of CHF 15.00 per night.
The reception is closed between 10:30 and 16:00 and between 20:00 and 07:00

In the botanical park on the larger island, San Pancrazio (also called Grande Isola) , over 1,500 plants from the Mediterranean, the tropics, South Africa, North, Central, and South America, Australia, and Japan grow on an area of just 2.5 hectares. Visitors can learn more about the plants and their characteristics through a guided tour .
From an art-historical perspective, the Renaissance church of Madonna del Ponte (1520-1545), located just south of the town centre, is considered one of the most important creations of Lombard architecture in Switzerland.
In addition to numerous palazzi, the Casa Branca (1680-1720), also called Palazzo Baccalà , with its richly decorated façade, is worth seeing in the old town centre .

In principle, the Lake Maggiore region can be visited year-round . However, activities such as hiking and cycling are more suitable during the months from April to October.
During the summer months of May to September, Brissago is a popular destination with average temperatures of 25 degrees Celsius and is perfect for all kinds of outdoor sports. In July and August , you can enjoy summery temperatures of around 28 degrees Celsius .
