In San Diego (Pacific Beach), we work closely with local personal trainers who can tailor each workout to your needs. Both the gym and the Crossbox are just a few minutes away from your accommodation and can be reached quickly on foot. The functional fitness sessions on the beach take place every Saturday at 1 pm and every Sunday at 10 am. You will train with international, mainly local US athletes. The indoor fitness classes take place every day. Complete one of the many workouts afterwards: Athletic Conditioning, Fight Fit, Functional Training, HIIT, Strength & Conditioning or Sweat & Shred are just a few of the fitness classes offered on site.
We are happy to pass on your desired focus or sports preferences to our trainers so that you can start your first workout straight away.

Athletic Conditioning:
Increase your agility and speed. Agility is the ability to kick off explosively, slow down, change direction and kick off again. Combine this with a simple beach run to increase your stamina. Optimize your technical skills needed to perform fine motor and gross motor actions. Train everything athletes need.
Cross training on vacation:
In your box in San Diego you have access to the following types of training as usual: Bench press,squats,deadlifts,back squats, front squats,push presses,pull-ups,push-ups, kettlebell, military press (special form of shoulder press) and much more.
Complete a cross training warm-up, an intensive strength endurance program (MetCon= Metabolic Conditioning workout), various training units (workouts) and WOD's (Workout of the day) - training units of the day, different for each Crossbox.
Fight Fit:
Learn new insights into fighting techniques that will improve your fitness. Fun, variety, motivation and group dynamics are at the heart of these sessions.
Functional training:
Functional and innovative training. Be inspired by new ideas and get new incentives for training optimization. Thanks to targeted and varied movement sequences in functional training, you will strengthen your functional muscle chains and stabilize your joints at the same time, taking all training principles into account.
HIIT & fitness on vacation:
Focus on short, high-intensity load and recovery intervals during high intensity training and only use your own body weight. Learn effective ways to train without equipment. The body workout holistically improves your strength, power and endurance.
Stand up paddleboard as a core workout:
Stand-up paddling (SUP for short) is the new water sports trend. A new study even proves that the sport brings greater strength gains than training in the gym. SUP is a veritable workout for the core muscles and is fun at the same time. In addition to the increase in strength from the paddle strokes, the wobbly board requires activation and mobilization of the deeper muscle layers, comparable to a wobble board or a workout on a vibration plate.
Strength & Conditioning:
Improve the physical components that determine success in sports performance. Apply methods that improve your strength, agility, explosiveness and muscular endurance. Learn more about general athleticism and applicable tools.
Sweat & Shred:
Have fun with physical challenges that transform your body. As a rule, these exercises can be done without equipment and take a maximum of 30 minutes.

After a restful night's sleep, we recommend an easy run along the beach promenade at sunrise. Then cool off in the refreshing sea before fortifying yourself for the day with a healthy breakfast.
Afterwards, complete one of the many workouts: Athletic Conditioning, Fight Fit, Functional Training, HIIT, Strength & Conditioning or Sweat & Shred are just a few of the fitness classes offered on site (see above).
Afterwards, we recommend that you explore the area and Pacific Beach. You can book specific tours through us or on site: Discover La Jolla, Torrey Pines, Ocean Beach or other highlights.
In the afternoon, you can achieve your individual goals with the help of private personal training . Three hours are already included, and you can book more through us at a reasonable price. If you feel like exercising again afterwards, you are welcome to take part in a fitness class and meet like-minded people from all over the world.
If you want to get active again at one of the best surf spots, grab a surfboard or book individual surf or SUP lessons.
Stroll along the beautiful sandy beach in the evening and relax in perfect weather conditions. Enjoy the remaining hours in a beach bar with a good feeling. Alternatively, Pacific Beach offers various options for further evening entertainment.
Trip duration:
This retreat has a fixed duration of 8 days. As this trip is available on request, you can also tell us a different duration. Simply fill in and send.
Travel program:
You determine your travel program individually, i.e. you can lie on the beach all day or take part in as many courses & activities as are included in your travel package (all services apply as stated below under Included services). In addition to the services that are already included in your travel package, you can book further services, such as extra fitness sessions, with just one click in the booking form.
Availability:
This trip can only be booked on request. Please note that your period may be fully booked at short notice due to dynamic booking procedures. This means that we cannot always guarantee that the selected trip will be available at the requested time in combination with a specific room. In any case, we will immediately check all travel components with the organizer on site so that we can guarantee you a final response within 48 hours! In the rare case of unavailability, we will offer you an alternative option directly: Either in comparable accommodation or for a slightly different travel period.
Cancellation conditions:
This trip can be canceled in accordance with our terms and conditions. However, you are welcome to take out travel cancellation insurance here at a reasonable price.
