This 'Surf House' restaurant offers completely healthy, partly vegan options such as smoothie bowls, poke bowls, various salads or fresh fish. Taghazout is a fishing village on the Moroccan Atlantic coast, hemmed in by the Atlas Mountains, north of the city of Agadir.
The flair of the coastal town has long been known, so the hype surrounding Taghazout is greater than ever. Although the village is still tranquil, more and more active travelers are drawn here. The laid-back fishing village, once famous for calamari and hippies, is now the most popular surfing destination in Morocco for beginners and pros alike (the best waves can be found there between November and March).
However, Taghazout has so much more to offer: From the miles of sandy beach and excellent sports and yoga opportunities to the culinary highlights, the area knows how to impress. If you are staying a little longer, there are also various day trips on offer: Essaouira or Agadir are recommended. Marrakech is recommended for a 2-day trip.
The courses generally focus on training sessions with functional exercises. These take place both indoors and outdoors along the promenade and on the beach. Experience challenging and interesting workouts and enjoy the soothing sunshine at the same time.

Our Cross Training Retreats are designed as a specific type of vacation to balance professional and coached training with outdoor activities, fun and relaxation in beautiful destinations - in this case in a picturesque village in Taghazout directly on the Atlantic Ocean.
We know that real fitness enthusiasts, whether (semi-)professional or recreational, can never part with their own dumbbells, weights or functional training equipment. In order to satisfy this athletic craving while on vacation, an outdoor gym has been set up in this hotel. It was designed and conceived together with leading professional athletes who were inspired by the extraordinary outdoor environment. Here you can train in an open natural environment, surrounded by the flair of the desert on one side and the calm sea on the other. In short: experience unique open-air cross-training with the best strength and conditioning equipment.

Take part in the outdoor beach jogging at sunrise - a guided jogging tour along the long, beautiful sandy beach. Experience a perfect outdoor workout to start a sunny day in top shape. You'll quickly get to know the various benefits of exercising in the fresh air while enjoying the Moroccan sunshine, and after a healthy breakfast with local ingredients, you can explore the small fishing village and surfing hotspot of Taghazout in the morning. Traditional Moroccan buildings along the coast paired with perfect waves make this place so unique.
Afterwards, enjoy a healthy lunch in one of the many small local restaurants before a quiet day at the beach awaits you. Alternatively, you can get active in the water and test the waves of the Atlantic first-hand. Whether surfing or surfing: You'll fall in love with the sport - if you haven't already.
In the early evening (17:30), look forward to the contemplative Sunset Yoga (Yin Yoga) in the hotel's shala. This offers a calming alternative to the active program. The focus here is on relaxing the body and mind. Positions are generally held for a longer period of time. Afterwards, a 50-minute spa treatment is also included for you at Travelling Athlete . Find peace and completely switch off on vacation. Enjoy the evening with a good, relaxed and fit feeling in a cozy beach bar and forget all your thoughts during an unforgettable, warm (summer) evening.
Duration:
This retreat has a fixed duration of 10 days. However, there is also the option of 7 and 14 days. Please see "Travel packages overview".
Travel program:
You determine your travel program individually, i.e. you can lie on the beach all day or take part in as many courses & activities as are included in your travel package (all services apply as specified below under Included services). In addition to the services that are already included in your travel package, you can book further services, such as extra fitness sessions, with just one click in the booking form.
Availability:
Please note that your period may be fully booked at short notice due to dynamic booking procedures. This means that we cannot always guarantee that the selected trip will be available at the requested time in combination with a specific room. In any case, we will immediately check all travel components with the organizer on site so that we can guarantee you a final response within 48 hours! In the rare case of unavailability, we will offer you an alternative option directly: Either in comparable accommodation or for a slightly different travel period.

Local taxes:
