Try your hand at surfing on this fitness vacation or improve your existing surfing skills. For surfers of all levels - from beginner to pro - the area (e.g. Taghazout) is one of the most outstanding surfing hotspots in the world. The best waves can be found there between November and March.
You can also enjoy unforgettable yoga moments. Whether in the yoga shala (Sanskrit for "home") with a view of the vast ocean or directly on the beach: find peace during various yoga sessions, improve your mobility & achieve a balance to surfing.

Paradis Plage offers fresh and healthy Mediterranean and international cuisine à la carte or from the buffet. Most of the products come from a local organic farm. Due to its proximity to a traditional fishing village, the resort offers fresh fish and seafood from the region every day. Paradis Plage has a total of 4 restaurants and bars where you can enjoy delicious dishes throughout the day. From seasonal fruit to tapas and cocktails, the resort has something for everyone. L'ocean restaurant
Like the main bar, L'ocean restaurant is located on the terrace next to the pool. The healthy breakfast buffet is offered all year round and caters for all tastes: fresh seasonal fruit, eggs prepared on the spot, muesli, nuts, cereals, cold cuts, yoghurt and cheese are just a small selection of what is on offer. The Pancake Bar also offers Moroccan pancakes with fresh local honey straight from the beehives. A daily evening buffet is only offered in high season.
27 Restaurant
The more modern à la carte restaurant 27 serves modern Mediterranean dishes, international cuisine and traditional Moroccan dishes. Named for its distance from Agadir (27 km), Restaurant 27 is based on a constantly evolving menu featuring the best seasonal produce Morocco has to offer. All ingredients are organic and locally sourced. The restaurant is famous for its extravagant desserts and perfect wine pairings.
Chiringuito
This 'Surf House' restaurant offers completely healthy, partly vegan options such as smoothie bowls, poke bowls, various salads or fresh fish. Located directly on the beach, this is the perfect place to relax during the day after fitness and surf lessons or in the evening by the fire and enjoy the breathtaking sunsets.
Lounge
The lounge located by the sea is ideal for a selection of tapas and drinks with a wonderful view of the beach & the sea.
Taghazout is a fishing village on the Moroccan Atlantic coast, hemmed in by the Atlas Mountains, north of the city of Agadir. The flair of the coastal town has long been known, so the hype surrounding Taghazout is greater than ever. Although the village is still tranquil, more and more active travelers are being drawn here. The laid-back fishing village, once famous for calamari and hippies, is now the most popular surfing destination in Morocco for beginners and pros alike (the best waves can be found there between November and March). However, Taghazout has so much more to offer: From miles of sandy beach, excellent sports and yoga opportunities to culinary highlights, the area knows how to impress.
If you are staying a little longer, there are also various day trips on offer: Essaouira or Agadir are recommended. Marrakech is recommended for a 2-day trip.

Do something good for your skin and muscles & relax completely in the steam bath.

Traditional Moroccan hammam (50 min.)
Between warm steam bath sessions, this experience offers a deep cleansing with traditional black soap. This tradition is a real treatment for body and mind.
Surf Wave (25 min.)
This massage is simply perfect for relaxing after a surf session.
The focus here is on the back, shoulder and neck muscles, which are put under the most strain when surfing
Access to 2 daily fitness classes in a small group (except Sundays)
The fitness classes take place daily at 11:00 & 15:00 and last 60 minutes. The program changes weekly and is varied (minimum number of participants: 3 people). The program includes CrossTraining/ Stretching Pilates/ Body Attack/ Fitness Abs/ Balance Training Power Step/ Beach Boot Camp

8.00 a.m. - SUNRISE YOGA
Start the day calmly as the sun rises and experience the sun salutations.
The positions included in this sequence are learned separately. Towards the end of the course, you will then perform the sun salutations with slight variations.
The focus is on combining the movement with the breath in an active flow.
Sunrise Yoga guarantees a perfect start to the day.
11.00 a.m. - SENSE OF YOGA
This yoga course is something very special, as the participants determine the content. You will be asked whether you want to work on specific positions (asanas) or learn breathing techniques (pranyamas). The focus is on alignment, correction and fine-tuning.
17:30 SUNSET YOGA
Sunset yoga is the practice of yin yoga. This is a very unique approach to yoga compared to all other more active yoga styles, as the focus here is on relaxing the body and mind. Positions are held for a longer period of time (about 45 seconds for beginners).
Yin yoga is closer to meditation, where the connective tissue in our body is worked to improve flexibility and loosen the joints.
This sunset yoga class is the perfect way to end the day.
*There is no yoga class on Thursdays
An unforgettable surf adventure awaits you during your vacation at Paradis Plage Resort in Taghazout. The resort has its own surf house, which is the center of all surfing and water sports activities and is located directly on the endless sandy beach.
Depending on your wishes, your skill level and the conditions on the day, your surf lessons will take place at various surf hotspots. The surf instructors will show you the best waves and take intensive care of you at all times.
In addition, the surf team offers transportation to nearby surf spots that offer better conditions at certain times. In general, there is a huge choice of surfing options between Paradis Plage and KM 11, a surf spot located 16 km from the resort and 11 km from Agadir. Between these two locations, different surf spots will be suggested to you, taking into account the daily conditions.
We know that real fitness enthusiasts, whether (semi-)professional or recreational, can never part with their own dumbbells, weights or functional training equipment. An outdoor gym has also been set up at this hotel to satisfy this athletic craving while on vacation. Here you can train in an open natural environment, surrounded by the flair of the desert on one side and the calm sea on the other.
The courses generally focus on training sessions with functional exercises. These take place both indoors and outdoors in the cross-training area, along the beach promenade and on the beach. Experience challenging and interesting workouts and enjoy the soothing sunshine at the same time.
To ensure that your fitness vacation meets your fitness requirements in the best possible way, you can use your hotel's training facilities during your trip - whenever and as much as you like.
The Paradis Spa offers a wide range of traditional French and Moroccan therapeutic treatments using the highest quality local products. The spa also has a traditional and a modern sensory hammam offering a variety of luxurious steam therapies. Take part in sunrise yoga at sunrise and catch the first soothing rays of sunshine. After a healthy breakfast with local ingredients, you can spend the morning exploring the small fishing village and surfing hotspot of Taghazout. Traditional Moroccan buildings along the coast paired with perfect waves make this place so unique.
Afterwards, enjoy a healthy lunch in one of the many small local restaurants before plunging into the refreshing water and testing the perfect waves of the Atlantic while surfing. One thing is certain: you will fall in love with the sport - if you haven't already.

In the early evening (17:30), look forward to the contemplative Sunset Yoga (Yin Yoga) in the hotel's shala. This offers a calming alternative to the active program. The focus here is on relaxing the body and mind. Positions are generally held for a longer period of time. Afterwards, a spa treatment is also included for you at Travelling Athlete . Trip duration:
The minimum trip duration is 5 days. However, you are also welcome to travel with us for longer and enjoy your vacation. Simply select your desired arrival and departure dates in the booking calendar.
Travel program:
You determine your travel program individually, i.e. you can lie on the beach all day or take part in as many courses & activities as are included in your travel package (all services apply as specified below under Included services). In addition to the services that are already included in your travel package, you can book further services, such as extra fitness sessions, with just one click in the booking form.
Availability:
Please note that your period may be fully booked at short notice due to dynamic booking procedures. This means that we cannot always guarantee that the selected trip will be available at the requested time in combination with a specific room. In any case, we will immediately check all travel components with the organizer on site so that we can guarantee you a final confirmation within 48 hours! In the rare case of unavailability, we will offer you an alternative option directly: Either in a comparable accommodation or for a slightly different travel period.

Local taxes:
The traveler must pay a small tourism tax at the reception of the hotel. This amounts to 11 MAD (approx. 1€) per person/per day.
