Koh Fit Thailand offers you a 450 m² area for functional fitness - the center for all fitness classes that are offered for you in small groups.
The large surfaces offer you countless possibilities for your own individual and varied workouts. Vary your training in terms of structure, intensity and range of movement. With 12 CrossTraining training racks, sandbags, climbing frames, climbing ropes or weight sleds, you can easily do full body workouts and strengthen your entire body with functional units.
You'll find floors with mats on the ground to ensure you can safely carry out HIIT workouts.

Phil Armstrong - Fitness Coach
Get ready for a workout with Phil - Based on his background in the Royal Navy you can expect full and professional motivation. Specializing in boxing, swimming and cycling, you'll learn a lot from him. Due to his passion for fitness, you can be sure that you will see him training - if he is not active as a trainer himself. Phil is the first one in the gym in the morning and the last one to leave: his dedication and commitment will inspire you.
Danny Asker - Owner
The founder and owner, Danny, has raised Koh Fit from the ground up - with the result that he has a wealth of experience in the fitness industry. His credo is that every guest achieves their individual goal. He himself regularly takes part in fitness events, e.g. Sparta or endurance competitions.
Samantha Pettifer - Manager
In addition to our Travelling Athletes team, Samantha is your contact person at Koh Fit for any organizational questions. She will be with you every step of the way on your fitness journey. From the introduction on the first day of your arrival to the check-out, she will support you in all matters. Sam's goal is to create a tailor-made fitness package out of every fitness journey - individually tailored to your needs. Start the weekend on Saturdays with the morning class and a jungle and/or beach workout. These take place on the beach or in the stunning landscape of Koh Samui. It's your chance to experience the island's tropical environment during a workout. The session is led by one of the highly qualified trainers, Chris. With more than 14 years of experience in fitness, he ensures proper execution, variety and fun. Every Saturday you can choose between the Beach Circuit and the Jungle Hike. Both forms of outdoor training start early in the morning - ensuring cool, fresh air.
Jungle Hike
Nimm Teil bei der 5 km langen Dschungel Wanderung, in der deine Motivation und Ausdauer getestet wird. Dies ist kein Rennen, somit kannst du deine eigene Geschwindigkeit bestimmen. Es ist eine wunderbare Möglichkeit die Landschaft auf Koh Samui aktiv zu erleben und mit anderen Reiseathleten ans Limit zu gehen. Das beste Gefühl entsteht, wenn du den Höhepunkt der Strecke erreichst und einen fantastischen Ausblick auf die Insel bestaunen kannst: Meer, Palmen und traditionsreiche Buddha Tempel sind nur ein Auszug der Sicht.
Beach Circuit
Spaß, Abwechslung und viel Tempo bestimmen das Workout am Strand. Gestartet wird mit einem Warm-Up (Joggen & Stretchen) am Strand, um die ersten Sonnenstrahlen am Morgen zu genießen und die aufgehende Sonne über den Ozean zu genießen. Verbrenne danach viele Kalorien durch eine Vielzahl an funktionellen Übungen am Strand – hierfür werden u.a. Kettlebells, Battle Ropes oder Slam Balls benutzt. Beende das Workout, indem du in den erfrischenden Ozean springst, deinen Körper von dem Sand befreist und dich wieder frisch fühlst.

Koh Fit Thailand offers Strength and Conditioning classes that help all Travelling Athletes improve strength, agility, endurance, speed and power. Compared to ordinary workouts that focus on one movement in isolation, these classes optimize holistic movements of your body that are also used in your daily routine and sport.
Dynamic warm-up
Stretch and mobility exercises that are necessary for the movements of the later workout.
Compound lifts
Learn how to perform push, pull and leg exercises that strain and challenge multiple muscle groups at the same time.
Conditioning
Each workout contains a variety of different components aimed at optimizing your power, strength, balance, agility, coordination, endurance and speed.
Cool Down
Within your group you will be shown the relevant stretch exercises to reduce muscle soreness and aid recovery.
Try something new with a CrossTraining class: it combines power lifting, Olympic lifting, gymnastics, conditioning and offers a functional workout in which two days are never the same. Travelling Athletes with all athletic requirements and abilities can take part in CrossTraining, as the workouts are adapted to individual needs according to load and intensity. As a result, both absolute beginners and experienced athletes can take part in CrossTraining.

Stretch and mobility exercises that are necessary for the movements in CrossTraining.
Skills - Abilities
Learn (new) strength and Olympic lifting movements including squats, deadlifts, presses, snatches (weightlifting) and deadlifts (weightlifting).
Workout of the Day (WOD)
Each day will provide a new challenge in which a certain number of repetitions (reps) for certain exercises are to be completed as quickly as possible.
Cool Down
Within your group you will be shown the relevant stretch exercises to reduce muscle soreness and aid recovery.
Circuit training in a new form - the most effective form of training you can do in an hour. Leave your gym routine behind and really boost your metabolism. Fun and group dynamics are at the heart of this type of fitness. Here too, all Travelling Athletes are welcome to take part.
Tabata
This circuit includes 8 rounds of ultra-intense exercises in a 20 second workout and 10 second rest interval. Get ready to train to loud music.
Marine Circle
Complete the Marine Assault course as fast as you can. An obstacle parkour as you already imagine it: tires, commands and much more. Don't forget your swimsuit, it can get wet!
EMOM
Start with a prescribed number of exercises for one minute and recover quickly until the next minute starts. Try something new with this dynamic workout form.
Calorie killer
Push yourself to the limit and burn calories. Grab a partner for rowing and similar forms of endurance. Compete against other Travelling Athletes and try to burn the most calories.
Get to know THE NATIONAL SPORT of Thailand. Starting from the traditional training forms of Muay Thai, you will find yourself in fast and new forms of fitness. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced fighter - EVERYONE can participate in the Muay Thai courses. Learn the skills of a professional Muay Thai fighter at different levels of intensity. Fun, variety and motivation are also at the forefront here. The Muay Thai courses are held by Chris, who has taken part in more than 40 professional Muay Thai fights.

Train your body and mind in the yoga sessions at Koh Fit. In the full body flow, you will learn the fundamental principles of yoga in addition to the types of yoga and postures. This yoga kick-start in the morning will give you enough energy for the day. Replenish your reserves by combining relaxation and fitness. The yoga sessions are suitable for beginners and experienced yogis alike. The sessions are led by highly qualified instructors Ann and Bowie - with many years of experience in prestigious yoga institutions.

The training program at Koh Fit runs from Monday to Saturday, which means that at least Sunday is dedicated to rest and relaxation.
So make the most of this day to explore the dream island.
From your hotel, you can take a relaxing stroll along Lamai Beach and watch the crystal-clear water mingle with the white sand. From here you will find a variety of options for water sports, massages or a refreshing cold drink.
If you prefer to go on a trekking tour, this is also possible - Koh Samui is known for its breathtaking waterfalls. You can also join an external safari tour, start your own hike or simply enjoy your time in the sea or pool.
You can also opt for "island hopping" to see even more of Thailand. In a short time, you can explore numerous islands that are less than an hour away by boat. Koh Tao, a popular choice among tourists, is a beautiful destination with pure nature. With its tropical beaches, colorful marine life and hidden coral reefs ,it is perfect for snorkeling.
To round off the day, we recommend a trip to the Lamai night market, which attracts many people, especially on Sundays. Here you can find great gifts and souvenirs such as jewelry, art or clothing.

This retreat has a fixed duration of 8 days / 7 nights. However, there is also the option of 15, 22 and 29 days. If you would like a different trip duration, simply contact us and we will put together a customized trip for you.
Travel program:
You determine your travel program individually, i.e. you can lie on the beach all day or take part in as many courses & activities as are included in your travel package (all services apply as stated below under Included Services).
Availability:
Please note that your period may be fully booked at short notice due to dynamic booking procedures. This means that we cannot always guarantee that the selected trip will be available at the requested time in combination with a specific room. In any case, we will immediately check all travel components with the organizer on site so that we can guarantee you a final response within 48 hours! In the rare case of unavailability, we will offer you an alternative option directly: Either in comparable accommodation or for a slightly different travel period.
