The Regency Torviscas Apartments Suites on Tenerife are located in the popular vacation area of Costa Adeje . This 3-star hotel is approx. 1.5 km from Adeje beach, but offers outstanding sea views & a wonderful view of the summer sunsets. All of the hotel's apartments have their own kitchen, so if you don't want to book healthy, tailor-made meals, you can cook for yourself. The hotel also has a large pool, a restaurant and a fitness and wellness area (extra charge | €10 per private use for one hour). In addition to a sauna & pool, the wellness area also offers you the opportunity to enjoy various spa services such as massages (1 hour for approx. €50)

On this trip, you will enjoy healthy, fresh and tailor-made meals. Whether it's one meal a day (breakfast, lunch or dinner), two meals a day or a full board with three meals a day: you decide how extensive you want your balanced meals to be.
One healthy meal per day is already included - simply add more meals when you book.

You decide for yourself whether the meals should be low carb, vegetarian or spicy, for example.
You will receive a questionnaire from us in advance questionnaire including a breakfast list in which you indicate your food preferences, allergies, fitness goals etc. → All dishes will then be prepared for you accordingly.
We fill your fridge with healthy food for breakfast. You can reorder once a week.
The other meals(Meal Prep) are prepared externally by an excellent chef and delivered to your hotel several times a week, well packaged.
Thanks to a fully equipped kitchen incl. microwave & stove, you can heat up your meals quickly!

In this fitness travel package on the Costa Adeje, you can look forward to getting to know local fitness trainers and receiving intensive support from us & our partner CrossFit27. In addition to Spanish, you can also easily communicate in German or English. Overall, you can expect a very friendly atmosphere with young trainers and international athletes (including Spanish, English and German). You can either do your own training at any time (open box) or take part in one of the courses on offer.
The various courses - also known as Workouts of the Day (WOD) in CrossFit - usually last one hour. To ensure intensive support, the groups are kept very small with an average of 8 participants. In general, the focus of the intensive courses is on training units with functional exercises.
A course/WOD usually consists of 3 parts: First, there is a general and specific warm-up program as well as technical movement sequences (part 1: WarmUp). This is followed by the 2nd part of the workout, "Strength & Gymnastic" . A wide variety of exercises are trained here with correct execution. These include squats, cleans, handstands/handstand walks, pull-ups and much more. (Explanation of terms). In the third and final part of the course, a MetCon is completed. In a MetCon, a specific workout is often performed for a set time. Of course, these also vary from day to day. An example of this would be 5 rounds for time with 10 pull-ups, 10 air squats, 10 GHD sit-ups, 10 cal bike & 100m run.
But don't worry:
➤ A trainer is present at all times to support you with the exercises and correct your postures and movements. Of course, they will also motivate you to make the best possible progress.
➤ All exercises can be adapted to your fitness level. For example, if you are not yet able to perform pull-ups/lift-ups correctly, you can use an elastic band (various strengths) for support.

The Costa Adeje coastline is located in the southwest of the island and is home to many of the best beaches in the Canary Islands. For you, of course, this means pure vacation feeling.
During the day & at night:
The Costa Adeje always has something to offer.
Relax on one of the many dream beaches on the Costa Adeje and enjoy the warm temperatures all year round. The chic Playa del Duquein particular enchants with its soft sand and beautiful clear water. If you want to be a little more active, you will also find numerous water sports activities such as jet skiing, windsurfing and parasailing at Puerto Colon. The two water parks Siam Park & Aqualand also provide variety. While Siam Park is one of the largest and best water parks in the world, the Aqualand water park scores with lots of exciting slides and an incredible dolphin show.
The island also boasts the highest volcano in Europe (Pico del Teide), numerous natural swimming pools along the coast, unique hiking routes and much more.
Our tip: To get to know the many facets of the island in the best possible way, a rental car is recommended. This way you can easily discover the various beaches on the coast, visit El Teide National Park or take a day trip to Santa Cruz. We are also happy to help you organize a rental car. In Adeje, especially along the beautiful beach promenade, you will also find various bars, restaurants, boutiques and shopping centers. At night, this resort comes alive with a great mix of international cuisine, lounge bars, music venues and much more.

Complete an intensive & varied beach workout / beach bootcamp in the morning after a good night's sleep. You'll quickly get to know the various benefits of a sports session on the beach,have a lot of fun and work off all your energy at the same time. Afterwards, enjoy a healthy breakfast on the balcony of your apartment, relax with a view of the calm sea and the surrounding islands and recharge your batteries for the rest of the day.
At 9 a.m. (or at your preferred time) you can complete an intensive 1:1 workout with your personal trainer. Whether you are a beginner or a pro: here you will learn & improve CrossFit techniques and enjoy great progress 🙂
If that's not enough, take part in the 10:15 a.m. class with the other Travelling Athletes and work out to the max. The group workout provides new stimuli every day so that you are always challenged anew. After an intensive morning of training, you can look forward to a healthy & tasty sports meal in your apartment. Afterwards, a quiet day at the beach awaits you. Stroll along the beautiful sandy beaches of Playa del Duque or Playa Torviscas and relax in perfect weather conditions.
If you feel like getting active again in the evening, you can take part in sunset yoga. Relax your body and mind and experience one of Tenerife's beautiful sunsets.
You can then - if you wish - enjoy the evening together with other Travelling Athletes in a beach bar and let the day come to a relaxed end . Alternatively, Adeje and its beach promenade with its numerous bars, restaurants & nightclubs offer various options for further evening entertainment.
Trip duration:
The minimum trip duration is 6 days. However, you are also welcome to travel with us for longer and enjoy your vacation. Simply select your desired arrival and departure dates in the booking calendar.
Travel program:
You determine your travel program individually, i.e. you can lie on the beach all day or take part in as many courses & activities as are included in your travel package (all services apply as stated below under Included services). In addition to the services that are already included in your travel package, you can book further services, such as extra fitness sessions, with just one click in the booking form.
Availability:
Please note that your period may be fully booked at short notice due to dynamic booking procedures. This means that we cannot always guarantee that the selected trip will be available at the requested time in combination with a specific room. In any case, we will immediately check all travel components with the organizer on site so that we can guarantee you a final confirmation within 48 hours! In the rare case of unavailability, we will offer you an alternative option directly: Either in a comparable accommodation or for a slightly different travel period.

All in all, an unforgettable vacation. The Crossfit Box is awesome. Super equipment, good workouts, competent trainers and nice people. The personal training sessions are extremely worthwhile. You go home from every lesson with a real sense of achievement.
The on-site support from Travelling Athletes is great - no question is too stupid and the answers are always friendly and solution-oriented.
I can only recommend booking 1 additional meal for breakfast. It was always very tasty, healthy and, above all, it is extremely relaxing not to have to worry about cooking.
If you wish, you can connect with other Travelling Athletes in a WhatsApp group. This gives you the option of getting to know really nice people, but you can also do your own thing at any time.
The hotel is not a luxury palace but absolutely fine (an apartment for 4 people was the better choice for me than a studio because of the separate bedroom) and is ideally located near the Crossfit Box.
My tips? Book more personal training sessions and come back soon 😉
If you are thinking about taking a trip with Travelling Athletes , I would recommend that you contact Julian via the e-mail address. He will answer all your questions and respond to your wishes. Together you can then put together a trip that suits you perfectly. I had a few requests and questions, which were always answered promptly, friendly and in detail.
On site, the transportation from the airport to the accommodation went smoothly. The apartment is close to the CrossFit box and the beach is only a few minutes away. In the WhatsApp group, you could get in touch with the other Travelling Athletes and get to know new people and train together. The CrossFit box is superbly equipped and the trainers are very friendly! The personal training is highly recommended as the technique is explained and taught very well.
I first booked the basic package, which is very good and really works you if you take it seriously. However, I was also interested in other sporting activities on site, which Julian made possible for me.

Even the "basic version" was completely sufficient for me. One hour of PT a day + the CrossFit access meant that I had really sore muscles. The trainers on site also adapted the program daily to my motivation and desire.
There are only positive things to say about Tenerife for active vacationers.
So this trip was just right for my plan to do something for my body and get my first taste of CrossFit.

In addition to the workouts, I have to highlight the hours of personal training. Benjamin does it really well and improves your technique extremely quickly! Really good for improving handstand walks etc. 😉
There were 8 other Travelling Athletes on site during my trip, so we also had a very cool group together. The WhatsApp group made it easy to arrange to meet up for dinner etc. (but this varies from week to week, so I would recommend writing to the Travelling Athletes team beforehand if the group dynamic is important to you).
All in all a wonderful vacation!!!
