The modern resort rooms are designed as a base for all the amenities you need to either start your Balinese day with surfing, sports and adventures, or to completely relax. Your food is guaranteed to be organic and super fresh, as Hotel Komune has recently modernized its organic farm with Mara Wolford, an expert in organic farming.

Keramas Beach is a beautiful black sand beach (volcanic deposits) that runs 1.8 kilometers along the southeastern coast of Gianyar, Bali. The beach is one of several beaches that line this relatively remote stretch of coastline, namely Saba, Masceti, Cucukan, Lebih, Lepang and Watu Klotok. The nearest major town, Gianyar, is about 20 minutes away and offers excellent opportunities to get to know the culinary side of Bali, especially at the famous night market. The world-famous yoga mecca of Ubud is around 40 minutes away and is ideal for a day trip.

YOGA SHALA
The yoga center comprises three yoga pavilions: The Beach Warung (20 people) - an absolutely picturesque location with sea views & magnificent sunrises over the mountains & the sea. A large tropical pavilion (80 people) - ideal for aerial (flying) yoga. A small group room (15 people) - with air conditioning.
TRAININGS POOL
A 25-meter training pool - This pool has been set up for the aerobic training of surfers as well as for breathing training and big wave training. It is also used as a general training and fitness pool. Training in the pool in the warm sunshine: what could be better?
FUNCTIONAL TRAINING CENTER
The resort has set up a first-class functional training center to offer fitness groups optimal training conditions. The equipment includes a range of dumbbells, TRX, barbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, battle ropes, pull-up bars, punching bags, Bosu balls, surf set boards, rowing machines and much more.
FITNESS AREA
The Komune Resort also offers a modern fitness area for those who want to work out on their own in their free time. Course descriptions - From A to Z
AERIAL YOGA:
Aerial yoga - also known as anti-gravity yoga - was developed by artists in the USA. It combines acrobatic elements with yoga philosophy and asanas from hatha yoga. The special exercises in the air train the core and abdominal muscles in particular. As the sense of balance is also strengthened, aerial yoga can alleviate symptoms of travel sickness.
DYNAMIC HATHA YOGA:
Is a dynamic form of yoga in which the balance between body and mind is sought primarily through physical exercises, breathing exercises and meditation. It leads to deep and liberating relaxation and recuperation.
IYENGAR YOGA:
Iyengar is a yoga method developed by the famous Indian guru B.K.S Iyengar. The Hatha Yoga exercises integrate the whole body and include lying, standing and seated asanas as well as forward, backward and inverted postures and twist asanas. Precision and perfect alignment are particularly important. Suitable for all yoga levels on vacation.
PRIVATE YOGA:
Personalized 1×1 yoga training with a certified yoga teacher. Choose between Hatha, Iyengar or Prayama experts.
RESTORATIVE YOGA:
Restorative yoga, known here as regenerative yoga, is a very calming and meditative type of yoga. The focus is on inner peace, clarity and self-love. It is therefore ideal for relaxing after a strenuous yoga class or fitness course. Also ideal for pregnant women or stressed people.
SUP YOGA:
Replace your yoga mat with a SUP board and do your yoga exercises directly on the sea! Start the day with SUP yoga at sunrise or end your day with SUP yoga at sunset. SUP yoga is the perfect addition to your usual yoga exercises on vacation. Use the rocking board to activate lots of small muscles that don't play a role in normal yoga on the mat. Conclusion: A real full-body fitness workout for your balance and strength.
VINYASA YOGA:
Also known as "flow" yoga, vinyasa yoga is an active, dynamic form of yoga. It uses controlled breathing to coordinate movements calmly and gently. It mainly involves asana (postures) and pranayama (breath control).
YIN YOGA:
Yin yoga is a calm, more passive style of yoga that is mainly practiced while sitting or lying down. Yin yoga is therefore particularly suitable as a balance to movement-oriented yoga practices. The aim is to experience deep self-awareness and relaxation.
MEDITATION:
Meditation is a technique that allows you to observe and control your thoughts, feelings and energy flows. It involves working with your own attention, concentration and imagination. Meditation brings about an increase in self-confidence, clarity, energy and vitality. As you relax, you gain inner strength and alertness.
ABS & CORE:
Duration 35 to 40 minutes. A low-intensity workout to strengthen the entire core musculature, i.e. your core and deep muscles between the diaphragm and pelvis (especially the center of the body). In particular, exercises for the abdomen, legs and bottom are included.
BODYWEIGHT TRAINING:
Duration 45 minutes. Full body workout for your entire body with exercises.
CARDIO BOX:
Duration 40 to 45 minutes. An intensive, fun workout with boxing exercises and your own body weight. Improve your cardiovascular fitness, endurance and coordination.
FUNCTIONAL FITNESS:
Duration 45 to 50 minutes. Improve the mobility, strength and muscular power of your entire body. Full-body training with the latest exercises from training theory.
HIIT CIRCUIT TRAINING:
Duration 45 minutes. Focus on short, high-intensity exercise and recovery intervals during high-intensity training and use only your own body weight. Learn effective ways to train without equipment. The body workout holistically improves your strength, power and endurance.
PRIVATE PERSONAL TRAINING 1×1:
Train with your personal coach. Your personal trainer is only there for you during the entire session, gives you exercises, checks your execution, motivates you during the last repetitions - in short: they ensure variety, fun and that you achieve your goals.
SPIN FLEX:
Duration 40 to 45 minutes. A spinning bike-based workout combined with free bodyweight exercises and dumbbells.
AYURVEDA:
During an Ayurveda consultation, your personal body structure is determined and possible imbalances are identified. A comprehensive chronicle of you will be analyzed: Digestion, diet, exercises, sleep, lifestyle, relationships, employment and much more. You will then be given a personal plan to optimize these areas (including yoga, meditation, breathing techniques, improved daily routines and cleansing, as well as fragrance, sound, colour and massage therapies)
STRETCH & ROLL:
Duration 35 to 40 minutes. Full body stretch and foam roller class to improve your flexibility and reduce muscular tension.
During your stay in Bali, you can take part in various excursions and experience Bali authentically and up close. Whether it's an exciting volcano hike at sunrise or an excursion to a beautiful white sandy beach, there are numerous options available to you during your trip. We are happy to help you with the organization. In general, the hotel also offers you the following optional excursions and experiences.

After a good night's sleep, complete an intensive & varied functional workout in the morning and start the day in top shape. After a healthy breakfast in the resort's Beach Club, you can take part in a Yin Yoga class in the morning. Yin yoga is a slow, modern style of yoga in which postures or asanas are held for longer periods of time.
Alternatively, you can complete an intensive 1:1 workout with your personal trainer at your preferred time. Afterwards, enjoy a healthy lunch at the resort before a quiet day on the beach awaits you.
If you feel like exercising again in the early evening, you can go for a beach run or an outdoor workout on the resort's Muscle Beach (see picture). You will quickly get to know the various benefits of a sports session in the fresh air & can enjoy the Bali sunshine at the same time. With this varied workout, you're sure to have a lot of fun and work off all your energy at the same time.
If you prefer a more relaxed approach, the meditation course is a calming alternative. This is followed by a hatha flow yoga course, which combines movement sequences with breathing techniques. Find peace and completely switch off on vacation.
In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at the resort's beach club or health club. Afterwards, you can enjoy the evening in a beach bar with a good, relaxed and at the same time fit feeling and watch some surfers with excitement. The resort's beach club also offers numerous options for evening entertainment: be it open-air cinema, surfing under floodlights or simply a cozy round of chill-out music by the pool.

You determine your travel program individually, i.e. you can lie on the beach all day or take part in as many courses & activities as are included in your travel package (all services apply as specified below under Included services). In addition to the services that are already included in your travel package, you can book further services, such as return transfers, with just one click in the booking form.
Availability:
Please note that your period may be fully booked at short notice due to dynamic booking procedures. This means that we cannot always guarantee that the selected trip will be available at the requested time in combination with a specific room.
